Sup. Get early access

Messages belong to the people sending them.

Why Sup

The fediverse gave people their social lives back: their own servers, their own rules, no ads. Messaging never caught up. On most servers a DM is still a post with the audience turned down, with no typing, no read receipts and no calls.

Sup is the messenger that sits on top. It works with the account you already have, reaches anyone through federation, and adds a faster private lane when both people use Sup. Nobody has to leave their server, and nobody has to start over.

What we hold to

1

Your account stays yours

Your identity lives on your server, not ours. Stop using Sup and nothing about your account changes.

2

Moderation comes along

Your blocks and your server's blocks apply in every chat. Sup never becomes a way around them.

3

No ads, no tracking

We don't sell data, and we don't read your messages to build a profile of you.

4

Straight about privacy

Plain language on what we store, where and for how long. Not end-to-end encrypted yet, and we say so up front.

Who's building it

Pixelfed Inc.

An independent company in Alberta, Canada, and the team behind Pixelfed and Loops. Sup is built the same way: in the open, for the open social web, without venture capital.
